Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard. The non-compliances are listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
- Some headings do not display correctly. They may look like normal text or a different type of heading. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1 (Info and relationships)
- Some form fields have hint text within the field input which clears when the user starts inputting information. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1 (Info and relationships).
- Some tables are structured incorrectly, so screen readers cannot understand the relationships between information in the table. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1 (Info and relationships).
- Some paragraphs use highlighted text which means the text has a poor colour contrast to its background. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.3 (Contrast (Minimum)).
- Users are unable to navigate backwards through some data fields using just a keyboard. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.1.1 (Keyboard accessible).
- Some links that reveal more content can cause some screen reader users to lose their position on the page. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value).
Disproportionate burden
At this time, we have not made any disproportionate burden claims.
Content that's not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
At this time, we have not identified any content that's not within the scope of the accessibility regulations.
What we're doing to improve accessibility
Our plan below describes how and when we plan to improve the accessibility of this service:
- We will train our staff to create accessible services.
- We will implement automated and manual accessibility testing in our development process.
- We will conduct user research and testing with users who have access needs.
- We will put in place alternative arrangements for those who need them and be willing to make additional adjustments if these are not enough.
